in fact, I feel left behind.
everyone is already in the mood.
you know, scheduling their christmas shopping, making gifts, planning christmas events, etc.
i think i shall do the same. * peer pressure.
I was at orchard 2 days in a row,
and I got to experience the 'opening' of the season :D
was walking along orchard road, and ALL THE SUDDEN/
BOOM!!
the dreamy blue decorations lit up!
everyone was looking up in awe :)
at the same time,
i notice many ppl were holding some stick thingy.
close up, it was a plastic candle-like touch.
* oh, i realized, i posted about this ytd. ppl are getting old.
ANYWAY.
the mood just.... you know :)
that dreamy christmas feeling, where you wish you're right next to the people you love :)
it looked like this :)
i was with a few friends, and we grabbed those candles for freeeeeee :D *I like cheapo yet good stuff.
and today, was shopping for my 4 cousins.
they are under 10.
don't speak any english.
4 of them.
3 boys, and a boyish girl.
so the presents have to non-english, simple, sophisticated, cool, and affordable.
there was a huge toy selling area,
gilarrr a lot of people @.@
look forward.
look backward.
so difficult to move ard@.@
kids running around screaming. *grrrrrr.
anyway, it's the start of a very special season.
spend it with those special ppl.
and of course, don't forget the origins of this very special day.
it has a special meaning to it:)
